JJ72 is a band that most people in the United States have not heard of, due to the relative obscurity of their import releases. It's time for that to change - what I deemed the best album of the year 2000 is now the best album of the year 2001 as well. Heavily influenced by Joy Division, melted together with Brit Pop's standards, this album is a phenomenal force to be dealt with. Not since the Smiths' "The Queen is Dead" have I seen an album that touches nerves under the skin quite like Mark Greaney's lyrics. It's impossible to listen to this album and not be somehow moved by it. Do yourself a favor and buy it. Get one for a friend as well. Pixiekittie
